DO YOU ACCEPT CUSTOM ORDERS?

HOW LONG DOES MANUFACTURING TAKE FOR THE HANDMADE ITEMS?

Depending on demand and complexity, we expect handmade items to take between 2 and 3 weeks. This time frame is an estimate and not a guarantee. Complex orders may take longer than the designs shown on our website. Customers are asked to be patient while they wait before placing an order. Because these are handcrafted items and not mass-produced, it takes much effort to create each. Quality cannot be compromised if the manufacturing process is not rushed.

HOW ARE ORDERS SHIPPED?

DHL ships most orders. These will arrive via USPS or sometimes through DHL in the USA. Don't hesitate to contact us for more information about shipping options to other countries.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN MY ITEM?

Yes. Customers can return their order for a full refund if they are not satisfied with it within 30 days. Tracking information is required for all returned items. We will issue a full reimbursement once the item has been returned.

HOW TO PREVENT FROM RUST?

* Coat the blade in a light oil (such as WD-40 or olive oil).
Oiling a Damascus Steel Blade can give it a rich luster that do justice to its natural, gorgeous pattern.
* Do not store in leather sheath long term (longer than a month). it can result in blade staining due to absorbent nature of leather.
*If storing in leather. It is recommended you prep the blade, wrap it in plastic wrap it in plastic wrap then insert the knife in the sheath.
*Please avoid using dishwasher for any of the Damascus blades.

IS IT A REAL DAMASCUS STEEL?

Yes, all our Damascus Blades are made by layering 15n20n 1095 Carbon Steel Hand Made in a forge.

ARE THE AXES FUNCTIONAL OR JUST DECORATIVE?

The axes are all fully functional for woodcutting, re-enactment or other purposes. They are all sharp and can be used to cut wood. Some axe designs can also be used to throw axes.

I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING IN A LONG TIME. IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET AN UPDATE ON MY ORDER?

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CANCEL MY ORDER?

You can cancel your order before it is dispatched. You can cancel an order for handmade items before it is shipped. We know that economic circumstances can change. Therefore, we ask that you do not place an order. If you don't want to proceed with the order, It takes a lot of effort and money to make a handmade item, then has the customer cancel before it ships. If you need to cancel, please message us by email at vikingbattleaxeofficial@gmail.com. If the order has not been shipped, we will cancel and refund it. We ask that you do not initiate a PayPal dispute or chargeback via your credit card company without first messaging us. These disputes can be time-consuming and unneeded. We will gladly refund you if you cancel your order before it ships.

MY ORDER ARRIVED DAMAGED, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Send us an email with photos of any damage or damage to your package that occurred during transit if you receive your order damaged. Please return the item in its original packaging immediately after it is used. You have two options: a replacement or a refund.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS?

Axes, knives and Swords all are of good quality. it is not recommended to cut into material such as metal or stone. Not to use it for leaping or as throwing knife because the Damascus Steel and Carbon steel not the stainless Steel. Unless dried after dishing it will rust. So you must use some oil to preserve it. Treat the blade with linseed oil or oil for maintenance weapons. We do not recommend exposure to extreme temperatures.
Do not treat the blade or leather of the handle and sheath with products containing water.

The leather can be treated from time to time with a natural balm for leather products with bee wax.
Sharpening of the knife can be done with carborundum sanders or diamond sanders.
